Kapolcs is a well-known town for creativity and creation in Hungary. Now, however, the town will host the startup camp named “innocamp,” organized by the OXO Labs team for the first weekend of August.
Participants are organized into teams and then work for three days on a jointly selected innovative idea, with the help of expert mentors. They can also participate in high-quality presentations on a variety of business topics. At the end of the third day, the ideas and details of each team’s business idea can be presented to a jury of investors, receiving feedback and gaining more knowledge and experience.
Based on the presentations, the jury will select three teams to receive funding to further implement their ideas.
The camp will take place in three recently renovated venues in Kapolcs: the MűvészVölgy Kúria, the Völgykamping, and the Pajtaszínpad where the closing event will be held.
Innocamp is open to all young people looking to found a business or pursue an entrepreneurial route. The camp is also ideal for those who have already reached the wireframe stage but still want support on the business side to implement their startup.
Professional experience is not required, and the organizers are specifically waiting for applications from those who do not have a business background but are interested in startups and represent a specific field of science.
Registration is possible with an entry fee (HUF 5000) and a short motivational video or letter. The application deadline is July 30.
