The government has launched a project entitled “Innovative training supporting the change of the economy” under the Széchenyi 2020 program.
Implemented via the Operational Program for Economic Development and Innovation, the project aims to support the transformation of vocational training and the development of an innovative training system that can prepare participants to use Industry 4.0 technology.
The project, which runs until October 31, 2022, will focus on establishing Sectoral Training Centers and Accredited Examination Centers, their methodological foundation, and the development of an accreditation system.
The project is using a non-refundable European Union grant of close to HUF 10 billion. The IKK Innovative Training Support Center is the leader of the consortium behind the project and is working in cooperation with nine vocational training centers throughout Hungary in Baja, Debrecen, Győr, Kecskemét, Miskolc, Nyíregyháza, Székesfehérvár, Szekszárd, and Vas County.
