Three healthcare companies investing HUF 5 billion

All three companies are making high value-added investments and helping Hungarian healthcare be more self-sufficient.

Minister of Finance Mihály Varga reported that three enterprises will receive more than HUF 3.8 billion in support for their developments.

Metris3D Kft. is investing HUF 1.1 billion to produce rubber gloves from domestic raw materials in Kiskunfélegyháza.

Podiart Kft. is spending HUF 1 billion to develop medical devices produced by 3D printing in Vecsés.

And with an investment of almost HUF 3 billion, Zorinvest Kft. will produce equipment in Budakeszi that can be used in scenarios where there is an increased risk of infection.

Varga said that together with these new ones, 49 contracts have been concluded within the Health Industry Support Program, totaling HUF 70 billion in investments.

Hungary is now facing the third wave of the epidemic, so investments in the healthcare industry serve Hungary’s interests. It strengthens Hungary’s self-sufficiency, creates new jobs and contributes to the successful restart of the economy, the minister added.
