The public vote for the Hungary 365 photo competition has started
Voting for the 165 entries selected by the jury is open until November 24.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, interest in the competition has reached a record high again this year, with almost 38,000 photos submitted.
There are three categories: nature and landscape, architectural heritage, and life images. The winners of the public vote will receive a prize of HUF 1 million per category.
The Hungary 365 photo competition is open to entries from professional and amateur photographers.
At the launch of the competition, photographer Ottó Kaiser, chairman of the jury, said that the aim of the initiative launched four years ago remains unchanged. The competition seeks to show, through the cameras of amateur and professional photographers, what Hungary has to be proud of: our landscapes, our natural treasures, our architecture, our traditions, our communities.
