The Adria InterCity trip was voted one of the top 10 rail journeys in Europe by The Guardian. Last year, more than 5,500 people traveled on the 789-kilometer train journey between Budapest and Split.
This year, the service will run from June 10 to September 24, three times a week in the high season and two times a week in the low season. The trip takes 14 hours, mostly at night.
The train has a dining car open throughout the journey, where hot dinners and breakfasts are available, as well as a wide selection of drinks.
Families and groups of friends can sleep comfortably in the four- or six-bed cabins, while couples and smaller families can enjoy a special “hotel” experience in coaches with one to three berths.
In the evening, all passengers receive a welcome pack, and a hot beverage and breakfast are included in the ticket price. All cabins are air-conditioned and equipped with power sockets.
Tickets for the Adria InterCity train start from EUR 43 for adults and from EUR 15 for children aged 6-14.
