The government’s aim remains to protect jobs, family benefits and lower public utility bills

This commitment is the same now as before the elections.

Tamás Menczer, minister of state for the development of bilateral relations at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, said the government’s aim was to protect jobs, family benefits and lower utility prices.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of the renovated House of Traditions in Páty, Tamás Menczer, who is also a Fidesz MP for the region, said that Hungary has been fighting a war in its neighborhood for a long time and that this war poses challenges for Hungary in the economic, security and energy fields. Nevertheless, the government will keep the commitments it made before the elections.

He said that his job was not to tell people how to live, but to listen to the people who live here and how they want to live their lives.

He pointed out that the House of Traditions in Páty has received HUF 60 million for renovation. The grant helped to renew the roof, redecorate the façade, modernize the building’s energy system, and renovate the surrounding fence.
