The five-star Minaro Hotel Tokaj has officially opened
Accor's luxury brand, “MGallery Hotel Collection,” has officially opened its new hotel in Hungary, the “Minaro Hotel Tokaj MGallery.”
The five-star hotel opened in a former stone quarry in the world heritage wine region of Tokaji, just an hour and twenty minutes drive north of Debrecen and the city’s International Airport.
The Minaro Hotel Tokaj has 100 contemporary-style rooms, nine junior suites, and three deluxe rooms with four floors and a private sauna. The hotel design is inspired by the old quarry and the surrounding nature, and the name Minaro comes from the original combination of Tokaj’s dessert wine dubbed “liquid gold” — “oro” — and the hotel’s location.
The proximity of the world heritage wine region and the vineyards impacts the hotel’s gastronomic focus. The picturesque location offers guests the opportunity to taste wine and immerse themselves in the region’s spirit during their stay.
Dana Janigova, the hotel’s managing director, said that the newly opened hotel fits perfectly into our MGallery Hotel Collection collection where guests can discover and fall in love with the hotel’s unique design, captivating atmosphere, and magical environment.
