The Bread of Hungarians charity program to take place this year as well

This program is needed now more than ever.

The Bread of the Hungarians program contributes to the care of tens of thousands of children every year, and in the time of the coronavirus, there is an urgent need for such help.

Last year, more than 5,700 farmers in Hungary as well as in Hungarian communities across the border took part in the program, collecting almost 800 tons of wheat to make into bread.

On the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Trianon, a new element will be added to the program for 2020: a Wheat Sanctuary Ceremony in Csíksomlyó, which will take place “virtually.”

MAGOSZ and the National Chamber of Agricultural Economics are committed to the success of the program and are counting on the donations of the Hungarian farming community to exceed last year’s collection.
