Successful first Agtech Summit conference

In November, the National Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) organized its first event on agricultural startups.

The Agtech Summit, focused on technological innovations and the future of agriculture, was attended by hundreds of visitors.

The participants learned about the latest trends in agricultural innovation. In addition to showcasing the achievements of NAK’s startup program over almost three years, the event’s main objective was to bring together young developers and experts who can respond to the current challenges facing agriculture with cutting-edge solutions.

Balázs Győrffy, President of NAK, said that the event proved that there is a place for young developers in the sector. By providing a supportive environment for these new types of developments, NAK is helping its members, as competitiveness can only be maintained by keeping pace with developments in the sector. Attracting agricultural startups can also help alleviate the problem of generational change,

The Agtech Summit concluded with a presentation of the developments and collaborations from the NAK TechLab incubator. During the three-month program, startups had the opportunity to work with market-leading agribusinesses.

The incubation program’s professional partner was Design Terminal.
