The event is by invitation only and seeks to attract the best and the brightest startups from Central and Eastern Europe. There are only 200 seats available, meaning a startup-to-speaker ratio of 10:1, and 90% of the participants will be true startup players in an effort to make sure that everyone present is from a similar environment and facing similar challenges.
Guaranteeing “100% bullshit-free content,” organizers are promoting a unique learning experience and “curated audience,” complete with fireside chats and office-hour sessions. They have put together a list of speakers that includes angel investor John Bohten (Calm, Headspin, Spotify, and Facemoji), 2019 Forbes 30 under 30 member Alexei Chemenda (CRO and Managing Director, Americas for Adikteev), four-time founder Zach Coelius, Sheel Mohnot and Marvin Liao (partners at 500 Startups), Head of Startup Connections for Google for Startups Amrit Dhir, and Shruti Shah (co-founder of Move Loot, and EIR at Silicon Valley Bank).
Hungarian Gyula Feher, currently the MD at Oktogon Ventures, will also be speaking. Feher previously was the Co-Founder and CTO of Ustream, one of Budapest’s most successful startups and acquired by IBM.
