As a partner of EIT Health, the Berlin office of Startup Campus can now help not only Hungarian but also French, Portuguese and Spanish companies enter the German market with a strong sales focus.
This week, the Berlin office of Startup Campus hosted its first international online conference in collaboration with the Medicen Paris Region health innovation cluster and the German business development agency, Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI). The Digital Health Application (DiGA) event was watched live by about 100 participants from five countries. The recording of the conference with five professional presentations is free to view online.
The international cooperation is based on the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Health Bridgehead program launched last year, where medical technology companies seeking to enter foreign markets can receive a grant of between EUR 30,000 and EUR 40,000. The amount can be used for consulting from one of the accredited consulting firms of the program, for example, Startup Campus.
The program is open to companies in all European Union member states, including Hungary; applications must be submitted by March 16, 2021.
Hungarian companies entering the German market can also attend the MMAP Conference, organized by Startup Campus and the Consulate General of Hungary in Munich, on March 3.
Startup Campus will even have its own booth at the DMEA 2021 – Connecting Digital Health exhibition, the most important digital health trade fair and congress in Europe. This summer, it might be held physically June 8-10 in cooperation with the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Hungarian startups can thus be presented at the event with the participation of Startup Campus.
