Startup Campus awaits applicants with four programs

Startup Campus is launching four startup programs in the fields of fashion and design; motorsports and urban transport; viticulture, gastronomy and tourism; and logistics.

The innovation center informed MTI on Tuesday that the University Startup Program is primarily looking for ideas from logistics, maritime freight transport, shipping trends, and port-related mobility. In addition, any idea can be submitted regardless of industry, if at least one undergraduate student is part of the team.

Meanwhile, the HFDA Startup Program will help fashion and design companies bring unique, innovative solutions to market with the help of the Hungarian Fashion & Design Agency (HFDA), and the HUMDA Startup Program, launched by the Hungarian Motorsport Development Agency (HUMDA), is looking for innovations in the areas of mobility, road safety, urban transport and racing preparation.

Last but not least, the TokajTech Startup Program has been launched for the development of the Tokaj-Zemplén Region at the initiative of the Tokaj Wine Region Development Council with the goal of revolutionizing viticulture, gastronomy, accommodation technology and tourism.

The best companies would receive business development training, mentoring and an investment of up to HUF 20 million from Hiventures, part of MFB Group.

The programs are also being supported by the National Office of Intellectual Property, Széchenyi István University and the National Office for Research, Development and Innovation.

Applications can be submitted until November 1.
