This year, the organizers of Restaurant Night want to highlight that the restaurants are doing their best to ensure a safe experience in the wake of the coronavirus epidemic and guests are welcome to return for some fine dining.
Despite the economic downturn caused by the virus, most restaurants did not give up on quality. These restaurants continue to source their ingredients from the best local sources, as they did before the pandemic, and are paying even more attention to serving their guests professionally.
The team organizing the Night of Restaurants first visited participating restaurants, asking them to put together a menu that even includes a free glass of wine and dessert.
“The aim of the initiative is for guests to forget the annoyances of the coronavirus a little, to let off a little steam and to spend a great evening with our safe restaurant partners,” said Tamás Balla-Seethaler, the main organizer of the event.
He highlighted that some restaurants will also be hosting a special event for this occasion, such as a wine tasting, musical evening, or coffee or champagne breakfast. For those still worried about COVID-19, there will also be a “Night of Restaurants gift voucher” for people to receive the same benefits later in the year.
