President Katalin Novák to lead the Hungarian delegation to the UN General Assembly

The 77th session of the UN General Assembly will be held in New York on September 13-27, 2022.

According to a statement from the Office of the President of the Republic, the President of the Republic Katalin Novák will arrive in New York directly from London, following the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II.

The official Hungarian delegation to the United Nations will be led by Head of State Katalin Novák. The members of the delegation will be Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó and several other senior officials including State Secretary for Security Policy Péter Sztáray, Zsolt Bunford, Attila Hidegh, Ádám Stifter and Deputy State Secretary László Váradi.

Gergely Ekler, the director general of the Sándor Palace, and Kristóf Altusz, advisor to the head of state on Foreign Affairs, will also attend the event.

Katalin Novák will also speak at the high-level session on September 21.
