With the lifting of restrictions imposed due to the coronavirus epidemic, lower-per-minute parking will now be available in more than 40 locations for the car rental company’s electric fleet. In addition to the capital, GreenGo is also introducing cheaper parking in the surrounding settlements.
GreenGo established its discounted parking zones almost a year ago, in the summer of 2019. At that time, in addition to the capital, the service was only available in Budaörs; now it is possible to park one of its e-cars in Budakeszi, Gyömrő and Mogyoród, among others.
In recent months, spring travel has been a bit slow, but with the resolution of the emergency, the e-carsharing company has taken steps to prepare for increased travel and car rentals by adding nearly 20 additional zones to its currently discounted parking areas in 25 locations.
Recent expansions have focused on popular meeting and excursion destinations, city centers, and shopping areas in the capital and its suburbs.
