Over 400 interactive fairy tales are available for kids at home

Thanks to a collaboration between Samsung and BOOKR Kids, more than 400 tales are now available for families to enjoy at home due to the coronavirus.

Families forced to stay home due to the coronavirus will be excited to learn that Samsung and BOOKR Kids have made 400 tales available online for kids to enjoy. BOOKR Kids offers books that are not only brought to life by well-known actors reading them aloud but that also feature beautifully animated illustrations. Plus, all of its classic and modern interactive stories come with skill-building games as well.

The section “Fairy Tales for Learning” is specifically designed to help lower- and upper-grade children learn their mother tongue, while English-language books support learning English as a second language.

“In the current situation where digital communication is the safest way to stay in touch, it is paramount to be able to take full advantage of the potential of technology,” said Balázs Kunos, Vice President of Samsung Hungary.

“University research proves that readers of our books perform 15-20 percent above the average in reading. In this emergency, we are now able to open our library to the whole country and provide a solution for home learning,” said Dorka Horváth and Daniel Karányi, the founders of BOOKR Kids.

Additionally, starting on March 25, readers will be able to view a special story that will help children understand the current coronavirus epidemic. Dr. Gyurkó Szurkia, head of the Hintalovon Foundation, focused on the importance of hand-washing when writing the story, and Tamás Czuder did the illustrations.
