No complaints about industrial performance so far
Industrial production in May was 9.4% higher than a year earlier.
Adjusted for working days, output rose by 3.4 percent, as there were two more working days in May this year than last year.
After declines in March and April, industrial production rose again in May, with seasonally and working-day adjusted data showing it was 1.4 percent higher than in April.
Manufacturing, the dominant industry, grew by 9.8 percent, light mining by 10.0 percent and energy by 1.9 percent.
Industrial production increased by 5.9 percent in the first five months of the year.
Foreign sales, which accounted for 60 percent of total sales, rose by 4.6 percent, while domestic sales, which accounted for 40 percent, increased by 9.4 percent.
