Hungarian legal-IT startup iLex and Tungsram have launched an online platform to support small and medium-sized businesses.
The Tungsram Innovation Marketplace powered by iLex helps users find answers to legal, patent, innovation management, prototype manufacturing, manufacturing capability and laboratory infrastructure questions. And later, the two companies and their partners will offer specific services in these areas.
Ferenc Pongrácz, Tungsram’s Chief Executive Officer for Innovation, said SMEs registered on the site can contact Tungsram and their partners for assistance.
According to Dr. Marianna Ritter, CEO of the iLex Group, the page being introduced is just the tip of the iceberg and will develop significantly once the platform has launched in January 2020.
Tamás Stukovszky, Senior Advisor to the Minister for Innovation and Technology, emphasized that the government is providing strong support to business innovation, cooperation between large companies and the SME sector. He said Tungsram’s online interface complements the government’s focus in this area.
The launch of the online interface also fits with Tungsram’s foreign market mentor program, within the frameworks of the National Entrepreneurship Mentoring Program launched by the Ministry of Innovation and Technology and the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to support SMEs.
The page is currently available in pilot phase: ilexmarketplace.tungsram.com
