At the end of last year, the Ministry of Finance noted the Hungarian Vaccine Factory as part of its HUF 860 billion package.
According to the company’s register, Oltóanyaggyár Zrt. was established December 15, 2020, by the University of Debrecen with five registered ordinary shares worth HUF 1 million each. The university will handle the infrastructure needed to produce vaccines, including a building construction project, the construction of residential and non-residential buildings, and the rental and operation of its own real estate.
Oltóanyaggyár’s board consists of one member, Eszter Anna Prépost, who is listed as the scientific director of the University of Debrecen in previous reports and is currently presented on its website as an administrative expert at the Center for Higher Education and Industrial Cooperation.
The company has been entrusted by the government with the domestic production of vaccines.
