NAK TechLab: Eight agro-innovation start-ups will be introduced virtually

The NAK TechLab's first incubation program, launched by the National Chamber of Agriculture and the Design Terminal, will conclude with an irregular online Demo Day today.

The online Demo Day will be live-streamed on Facebook at 7 p.m. today, March 19, 2020. Eight startup teams will present their latest agriculture innovation. Along with the teams, three jury members, one presenter and an infinite number of eager onlookers can join the online Demo Day. Here below are the expected presentations:  

  • Digital management and decision making in agriculture (Agrodat)
  • Grain-quality test drone (Alzagro)
  • Imaging and image analysis in agriculture (Gostech)
  • Analysis of plant experiments in a controlled environment (Growberry)
  • Reducing stress in poultry (Led Lighting)
  • Digital apple-moth trap (SMAPP)
  • High-level control on livestock farms (Okosfarm)
  • Pig-optimized image-recognition system (PigBrother)

Members of the jury:

  • Győrffy Balázs – National Chamber of Agriculture, Chairman
  • Veronika Pistyur – Bridge Budapest, Managing Director
  • András Moldován – AnimalSoft, owner & CEO

During the Live Stream, not only the jury but also the viewers can ask questions and vote for their favorite team. Voters can also participate in a drawing to win a pair of BrainBar tickets.
