Mesemúzeum celebrates its 10th anniversary this weekend

There will be family concerts, a book fair and a Csukás walk and exhibition opening.

On Friday at 6 p.m., the exhibition”  “Boldogan éltek, amíg meg nem haltak” (“They lived happily ever after”) will open, while a roundtable discussion with key figures such as Judit Halász (singer), Judit Berg (writer), Veronika Marék (author), Anna Szabó T. (writer), Krisztina Tóth (writer) and Tibor Zalán (poet).

During the program, there will also be children’s activities and a concert by Fruzsina Kovácsovics. 

On Saturday, at 11 a.m., the Klárisok orchestra will start the program with a fairy-tale concert, followed by a complex theater education performance entitled “A varázsecset” (“The Magic Satchel”) from 12:30 p.m.  This will be followed by a creative art session led by artist Réka Farkas. 

At 3 p.m., the Ládafia Puppet Theater will perform two plays, followed by the Rutkai Bori Banda at 6 p.m., and finally, at 8 p.m., Ildikó Boldizsár, storyteller, story therapist and author, will give a lecture on what it takes to live a happy life. 

The anniversary events will be hosted by the Mesemúzeum and Virág Benedek Ház. The event is free of charge, but places are limited and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
