Lufthansa’s Debrecen-Munich flight restarts

The airline had suspended its scheduled flight since March 16 due to the coronavirus epidemic.

Lufthansa suspended its Debrecen-Munich flight, first launched in 2016, last March due to the coronavirus epidemic.

Now, starting October 26, Lufthansa will resume the flight under strict rules and will operate it three times a week. The first plane will land at Debrecen International Airport at 9:20 a.m. and then return to Munich at 10 a.m.

Debrecen International Airport is taking all precautions to prevent the further spread of the epidemic. It is mandatory to wear a mask covering both the mouth and nose throughout the terminal while waiting for one’s flight.

To protect the health of passengers and airport staff, automated, non-contact hand sanitizers are available in diverse areas as well.

As with other airlines, Lufthansa passengers are also required to wear a mask during the flight, and the airline’s aircraft are equipped with Hepa filters to continuously clean the air in the cabin approximately every 2-3 minutes.
