International production filmed at BOTANIQ Castle of Tura

Several scenes from the film Get Lost, starring John Travolta’s daughter Ella Bleu Travolta, were shot in the reconstructed castle.

Get Lost will guide viewers into a real fairytale world where the protagonist of the film finds herself as she seeks to recover the ashes of her deceased mother. Several scenes for the movie were filmed in the fairytale castle hotel, which serves as the house of one of the main characters played by Sasha Luss, so viewers can see the specially shaped Palm House and the castle park with its pond and rose bushes.

During filming, the castle was home not only to the scenes in the film but also to the actors who brought the characters to life.

Filming is not unknown to the castle in Tura, as in 2008 it housed the magical world of The Secret of Moonacre directed by Gábor Csupó and In the Land of Blood and Honey directed by Angelina Jolie a few years later.

Although the renovated building has been featured in several video clips since the renovation, the reborn castle will make its debut on the movie screen thanks to Get Lost.

BOTANIQ Castle of Tura opened its doors to the public in the summer of 2020 after a complete exterior and interior reconstruction by the BDPST Group. Renovated after nearly 30 months, the castle, which has been expanded with new features, now has 19 guest rooms, a green park on 10 and a half hectares, and a spa.

The movie Get Lost will hit theaters in 2022.
