RepTár, the military aircraft museum known for its specially painted airplanes, opened its outdoor section to the public back in May. Visitors can enjoy nearly 60,000 square feet of themed playgrounds, a military obstacle course, a “one-person” gift shop and the restaurant’s expanded terrace. The legendary Messzer fighter jet is also moved out of its hangar every morning for viewing.
Now, for the autumn break, the museum will have some special programs.
Wizard-guided tours will take place every day at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., and airplane glitter tattoos will be made in the Hangar. “Boarding passes” give visitors access to planes and helicopters that are not otherwise open to the public.
From October 29 to 31, visitors arriving with carved pumpkins will get a small surprise, and all of the jack o’ lanterns will be lit up with candles at night.
