Hungarians can fly to Seoul via Frankfurt from Budapest

Asiana Airlines is steadily restoring its European route network following the pandemic period, opening new European destinations in its summer schedule.

It is currently planning to triple the number of its flights from Seoul to Europe between May and July 2022, which in practice means 17 flights per week on six routes.

Since the end of May, the airline has operated an increased number of flights between Seoul and Frankfurt and Seoul and London. In June, flights to Paris and Rome will resume, and in July, Barcelona and Istanbul will join the network.

The most interesting European flight for the Hungarian market is the Frankfurt-Seoul route, for which Lufthansa offers a connecting flight between Frankfurt and Budapest.

Flights to Frankfurt, London, Paris and Rome will use Airbus A350 aircraft, while flights to Barcelona and Istanbul will use Boeing 777-200 aircraft.

With the resumption of these flights, Asiana Airlines, a Star Alliance member with a five-star rating from Skytrex, will increase the frequency of its European flights to around 60 percent of pre-pandemic levels, according to Aviareps Hungary, the domestic representative of Asiana Airlines.
