Hungarian startups can also apply for the Discover Vienna: Manufacturing Edition training

In November 2021, EIT Manufacturing and the Vienna Economic Agency will organize a two-week program for manufacturing startups in Central and Eastern Europe.

EIT Manufacturing is a sub-community of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), which aims to increase the added value of competitive and sustainable manufacturing in Europe. The EIT Manufacturing Center is located in five locations, with Vienna being the center for the Central and Eastern European region.

The Vienna headquarters, together with the Vienna Economic Agency, now offers an unusual two-week program for 10 startups from the field of manufacturing to get to know the industrial and startup environment of Vienna.

These young companies are also assisted by EIT experts for a further two months after the two-week program, plus receive international attention through the organizers’ communication channels.

The program will include various events with potential investors, factory visits to reputable companies, and individual meetings with representatives of large companies. Participants also get to attend lectures on financing opportunities and learn about the latest technologies. Business development training and investment-readiness mentoring are further parts of the program.

Central and Eastern European startups no older than three years can apply to attend the intensive training held from November 3 to 16, 2021. Countries included in the call are Hungary, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia, Northern Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Cyprus.

Applications are open until October 11. Additional information and the application is available here.
