In addition to the gold medal, the Hungarian entry was also included in the Top 10 list, which actually has 12 sparkling wines due to the close competition and draws. Aside from the Hungarian rosé, there are only famous French and Italian sparkling wines.
A jury of 80 people gathered at Château des Ravatys in France in December to examine and choose the best sparkling wines in the world. There were a total of 35 gold medals and 115 silver.
Hungaria Rosé Extra Dry has now received these awards — a gold medal and Top 10 listing — from Effervescents du Monde for two consecutive years, 2019 and 2020.
