As MTI reported, the professional jury of the 2021/2022 Youth Science and Innovation Talent Contest has recommended the development of 63 applications out of the 122 applications received by the deadline.
According to the information, the talent competition organized by the Innovation Association, the Ministry of Innovation and Technology, and the Ministry of Human Resources is a special academic competition in which young people from secondary schools have to implement independent scientific and innovative projects.
The jury will make its final decision at the end of April. More than HUF 2.5 million in scholarships will be awarded to the winners, and three entries will also be selected to represent Hungary at the European final in Leiden, the Netherlands, in September 2022.
A podium place in the university entrance exams will be worth 100 extra points, and the most successful teachers and secondary schools will also receive significant support, the innovation association said.
The project is supported by the National Research, Development and Innovation Office with funding from the NRDI Fund.
