HUF 15 million for an idea to reduce plastic pollution
Applications are now open for the Startup Plastic Surgery program to support startups looking for solutions to the environmental and health challenges posed by plastic.
After two successful years, the Startup Plastic Surgery incubator program, Hungary’s first startup initiative to help startups rethink the use of plastics, is back for a third year.
Launched by the Climate Innovation Community, the four-month program provides industry-focused technical support, business coaching, and networking events to support selected startups and shape early-stage ideas into marketable businesses.
At the end of the four-month period, the teams will have the opportunity to present their development curve in a final competition. The best teams will be rewarded with a direct accelerated investment opportunity, courtesy of the Hiventures partnership.
The main sponsor of the program, ROSSMANN Hungary, will offer special prizes to help startups on their way to market, all free of charge.
The accelerator program is open until October 10 and welcomes applications from teams of at least two people who can contribute to the renewal of the plastics industry and a carbon-neutral future with their innovative ideas, products or technologies.
