Google launches free digital program for Hungarian entrepreneurs and startups

Google's Impact Challenge for Central and Eastern Europe is also supporting the Jump for CEE program.

The event aims to bring together 400 individuals and teams from Central and Eastern Europe to participate in online workshops aimed at helping to reduce the negative impact of the economic crisis caused by Covid-19.

The second phase of the program will run from May to July 2022, and all events will be free of charge for participants.

The first phase of JUMP for CEE attracted more than 330 participants from 31 countries, with 170 participants from Central and Eastern Europe and beyond taking part in the event. Throughout the program, an international network of mentors and experts helped to build 17 teams that developed business ideas in different industries and sectors such as education, cybersecurity, payments, travel, agriculture, sports and mobility.

Cristobal Alonso, Global CEO of Startup Wise Guys, said that they have had tremendous success in helping dreamers turn their first ideas into thriving businesses in the past 10 years. Through our foundation, they are working to deliver ambitious projects that help build sustainable local and international startup ecosystems.

Jump for CEE participants do not need to have a business or even a business plan to apply for the program. Any individual or team from the Central and Eastern European region, including Hungary, can apply.
