Google and Coca-Cola team up to help youth find jobs

The program offers free online training to help young people find employment in today’s labor market.

Google Hungary’s Grow with Google has joined forces with Coca-Cola Hungary’s #myfuture to launch webinars in which participants will learn about a safe online presence and telecommuting as well as get some insights into the basics needed for employment.

The purpose of the lectures is to provide participants with guidance on how to succeed in the online space in the post-coronavirus epidemic and thus successfully find the right job.

Last year, the two companies also worked together on a course focused on business startups and self-branding. This year, the webinar on July 13 will focus on a secure online presence, the challenges and benefits of telecommuting, CVs and LinkedIn profiles, job searches and taking the right steps toward employment.

For the first time, participants will also be able to meet the new module of the #myfuture program, which introduces participants to the legal side of employment and the basic concepts of labor law.

The Digital Workshop initiative was launched in Hungary four years ago under the guidance Google’s Grow with Google program. More than 70,000 people have since taken part in online courses.

Coca-Cola Hungary launched the #myfuture program in 2017 to help young people develop skills needed to find a job. The primary target group was 18-30-year-olds who were “NEET” (Not in Employment, Education or Training). But programs have been steadily expanding to focus on mothers, parents with young children, disadvantaged young people, students, those just starting their careers and young entrepreneurs.

Participation in the webinar is free, but registration is required.
