Goodwill Pharma to invest HUF 3.5 billion in Szeged
Goodwill Pharma Zrt. is expanding its capacity, with the support of the European Union.
The company, which distributes dietary supplements and pharmaceuticals, received HUF 1.8 billion for its investment from the Economic Development and Innovation Operational Programme plus (Ginop plus), they informed MTI.
Ferenc Jójárt, owner of the company, told MTI that the development will be carried out at three sites in Szeged. The company’s headquarters will be moved to a four-story office building, which will be enlarged and converted. The current headquarters will be converted into a multifunctional building, with a plant for the production of liquid formulas, a quality control laboratory and a production department for herbal products.
As part of the investment, a tablet-making machine has been purchased to increase its production capacity, doubling the current production of nearly 100 products. Among other things, quality assurance laboratory measuring instruments were also purchased, the owner added.
The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
