Flights to two more cities from Debrecen

From September 5 onwards, Aeroexpress Regional will operate flights to Cluj-Napoca three times a week for two months.

Aeroexpress Air Traffic Zrt. stated that regional flights have been an uncovered area in the Hungarian aviation market for a decade, so they’re using an introductory period to assess the feedback of travelers and have formed a new joint stock company with BASe Airlines Zrt., founded in 1991 and wholly owned by Hungarians.

The company, branded Aeroexpress Regional, is preparing for a two-month test operation starting in September in cooperation with the operator of Debrecen International Airport. They will create a long-awaited air link between Transylvanian and Hungarian cities, for which ticket sales have already begun.

Flights will operate on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on the Budapest- Cluj-Napoca-Debrecen-Murescureș- Târgu Mures-Debrecen- Cluj-Napoca-Budapest route.

Ticket prices range from EUR 40 to EUR 90 each way.
