Export Coordinator Training launched by HEPA

The aim is to make Hungary's economy and businesses exportable.

HEPA Hungarian Export Promotion Agency launched a unique export coordinator training course in Hungary with a focus on foreign trade.

Following the training, the export coordinators will be able to understand foreign trade concepts and events, allowing them to conduct foreign trade transactions, prepare an independent foreign market entry strategy, analyze competitors and prepare and organize the necessary promotional activities. Upon successful completion of the adult education program, participants can take a qualifying examination at accredited examination centers.

Managing Director of HEPA Kristóf Szabó said that the participants have an important task to fulfill the country’s export goals, as the 300 hours of training they will acquire will be key to the long-term presence and business success of small and medium-sized enterprises in foreign markets.

During the preparatory work, much attention has been paid to the fact that Hungarian SMEs lack the foreign trade knowledge or foreign market knowledge needed to sell their products, solutions or services. However, they do have high-quality products, solutions or services that are suitable for export.

HEPA’s knowledge center, the HEPA Export Academy, has more than 10 years of experience in providing export development services to prepare professionals for foreign markets. In recent years, it has trained more than 5,000 business professionals.
