Rosenberger Magyarország Kft., a manufacturer of electronic products, is implementing a new capacity expansion worth around HUF 15 billion in Jászárokszállás, Jászberény and Nyírbátor, announced Levente Magyar, Parliamentary State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, on Friday.
According to publicly available data, Rosenberger Magyarország Kft. achieved a turnover of HUF 32.66 billion last year, of which HUF 32.253 billion came from exports and HUF 406.5 million from domestic sales. Rosenberger Group has already completed one development in Hungary worth some HUF 15 billion. Together with the new investment package announced, this could amount to HUF 30 billion in a few years, Magyar said.
Hungary has achieved outstanding economic successes in recent years, and the Hungarian government is determined to preserve and strengthen the favorable investment environment along with the predictability that characterizes the country, he said.
Francisco Papp, Managing Director of Rosenberger Magyarország Kft, said that the German-based global group is committed to the Hungarian market. They employ around 4,000 people in Hungary and supply their products mainly to the automotive industry, but also to other customers.
In order to improve the competitiveness of the company and strengthen its market position, they decided to invest in several sites. Rosenberger Group also plans to establish an operational center in Europe, and Hungary will play an important role in this process, the managing director said.
