The European Commission has opened the second round of calls for proposals under the Digital Europe Programme (DEP), which are open to businesses, organizations and public administrations from EU member states, among others. The European Investment Bank’s (EIB) latest business digitalization survey assessed the use of advanced solutions. According to the survey, Hungary’s digital economy is in the top half of the better performing countries surveyed. The data shows that we are ahead of Denmark and France, among others, which are among the most advanced economies.
The calls are aimed at strengthening digital capacities, which are of high economic and social importance, including in the fields of high-performance computing and artificial intelligence, the Ministry of Innovation and Technology told MTI on Monday.
The Ministry is the Hungarian coordinator of the program and will provide advice and information to help Hungarian companies successfully participate in the calls, the statement added.
The deadline for submitting applications is May 17, 2022, with the next calls for proposals to be published this summer at the earliest.
