Debrecen man becomes young entrepreneur of the year

Csaba Zajdó, 37, owner of Innonic Group and Shoprenter, received this year's National Young Entrepreneurial Award.

More than 20 percent of total Hungarian internet trade is realized through the stores of Debrecen-based Innonic Group and ShopRenter, founded by Csaba Zajdó, recently recognized for his work by FIVOSZ.

With the National Young Entrepreneurial Award, FIVOSZ (National Association of Young Entrepreneurs) recognizes everyday heroes who, despite their young age, create great value both financially and socially.

“Recognition is particularly important because whoever receives it will serve as an example to hundreds of thousands of young entrepreneurs in Hungary for a full year,” said Dávid Béaskovics, Vice President of FIVOSZ.

The 37-year-old businessman from Debrecen founded his first business as a university student. Since then, the company developing web shops and online retail solutions has evolved into a group of companies, surpassing HUF 1.3 billion in revenues and HUF 250 million in profits for 2019.

Zajdó also participates in the creation of social initiatives and has developed an entrepreneurial ecosystem in Debrecen by building up the local business community. The products sold by his group are used not only in Hungary but worldwide, with a total of 65,000 customers.
