COVID-19 Update: Many countries are restricting vaccination certificates

The Czech Republic, like Austria and Montenegro, will limit the validity of vaccination certificates from January 2022.

As of January, only certificates showing that the holder was vaccinated less than nine months ago (two vaccinations in most cases, except for Janssen) will be accepted by Czechia. A booster vaccination will otherwise be required to maintain immunity status, Czech Health Minister Adam Vojtech said, according to the dpa-AFX news agency.

Austria already only accepts vaccination certificates for a maximum of 270 days, while Montenegro has limited the validity of certificates to six months.

The alternative for entry is a negative PCR test result no older than 72 hours or a negative rapid antigen test result no older than 48 hours.
