The Hungarian National Bank (MNB) informed MTI that the bank will organize the “World FinTech Festival in Budapest” for the second time in cooperation with the Singapore FinTech Festival. According to the statement, the Singapore FinTech Festival (SFF) is the world’s largest financial digitalization and innovation event organized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS).
On November 11, the World FinTech Festival in Budapest, organized by MNB, will feature internationally renowned experts giving presentations and participating in thematic panel discussions. The conference will focus on digital platforms, sustainable and decentralized finance, cybersecurity, and digital central bank money, as well as new trends in fintech education.
On November 12, the first Hungary-Singapore FinTech Business Forum will take place, organized by the Hungarian Embassy in Singapore and with the participation of fintech associations, central banks and companies from both countries.
The Monetary Authority of Singapore and MNB signed a cooperation agreement last year to strengthen joint work on fintech innovation between Singapore and Hungary, and a similar agreement between fintech associations in Hungary and Singapore will be signed this year as well, the central bank said.
The World FinTech Festival in Budapest 2021 co-event can also be followed live on MNB’s YouTube channel.
