Budapest Essentials is a must-have urban festival
The Budapest Essentials festival will be held from November 17 to 19, 2022.
This year’s festival will take place in four venues: the Gömb Aula on the Lágymányos campus of ELTE, the Ethnographic Museum, which opened this spring, the art deco Tesla Loft in the historic Jewish Quarter, and one of the oldest buildings in the City Park, the Millennium House, formerly known as the Olof Palme House.
Youngr, who has achieved over 100 million global streaming views and played more than 150 concerts in 40 countries worldwide since his debut single “Out Of My System” in 2016, will make his Hungarian debut at the festival.
The festival will also feature Beardyman, one of the world’s top beatboxers and multi-instrumentalists who has been touring the world for over a decade, and Sarot, the 2018 Beatbox Loopstation World Champion.
Greg Wilson, a major figure in the U.K. dance scene who is considered a “pioneer of mixing,” and Yubik, whose latest music has been a hit on his Afterlife label and whose production work can be heard regularly at massive parties, will also attend the festival.
