To qualify for the award, restaurants must meet a number of criteria, which Wine Spectator representatives personally verify during their visits.
Only those restaurants whose wine lists are of a high professional standard, with at least 350 different items and a wide selection of wines from the best regions and the best producers, covering several vintages, will be awarded.
