Starting Monday, Austrian Airlines will operate on its Budapest route again, and soon people will be able to travel twice a day between Schwechat Airport and Ferihegy.
The company had stopped flights in March of last year when the epidemic broke out. However, the airline will also fly twice a day to the Hungarian capital’s airport starting in August.
Although travellers can enter Austria with an EU Covid certificate, a negative PCR or antigen test that is no older than 48 hours, those traveling through must also meet the conditions of entry for their destination country. This will be checked by the airline at check-in and boarding.
