A national vaccine factory is vital
The Ministry of Human Capacities and the University of Debrecen have signed a cooperation agreement for a national vaccine factory.

Cecília Müller, Hungary’s chief medical officer, announced at Friday’s press conference of the Coronavirus Operational Group that Minister Miklós Kásler and Zoltán Szilvássy, rector of the University of Debrecen, had signed a cooperation to establish and implement a national vaccine factory.
“The government recognized the importance of independent vaccine production as early as 2018,” Müller said.
The factory will engage in the production of both obligatory and optional vaccines. The main goal is to ensure the country has a safe and independent supply of vaccines.
