Entrepreneurs who run their own businesses and are between the ages of 18 and 40 can nominate themselves or be nominated for the award. The winner will be announced at the end of the Young Entrepreneurs Week – Career & Business Show, which will be held in seven rural locations and Budapest’s Bálna from November 18-21. FIVOSZ President Patrik Kovács said that the winner will serve as an ambassador for young entrepreneurs, attending various events and holding media appearances over the course of one year.
Last year’s winner was Viktor Virág, founder of MADS, an employment agency that has helped students find stable work and currently has a talent database with over 30k individuals between the ages of 17 and 35. In 2016, Mentes Cukrászüzem founder Zsolt Oltványi won the award for his business making gluten-free and sugar-free confections. Oltványi emphasized the respect that his company earned from this achievement, stating that he “gained valuable new relationships and a wealth of PR, creating opportunities for the company and creating new business opportunities.”
