10 startups represent Hungary at the Collision Conference in Toronto

Participants have the opportunity to meet with international investors and professional partners in Canada.

Ten technology startups from the joint program set up by the Express Innovation Agency and its partner organizers could join a country booth at the Collision Conference.

Krisztián Kölkedi, deputy CEO of Express Innovation Agency, said that the agency aims to support the entire innovation ecosystem, from talent development to market exploitation. The Collision Conference and other professional programs enable participating startups to gain real value, knowledge and networking opportunities. The teams can also test their skills live during a pitch, where they can present themselves to investors.

Dr. Mária Vass-Salazar, ambassador at the Embassy of Hungary in Ottawa, said that she is proud there is a Hungarian stand at the Collision 2022 Conference, a world-class forum for innovative technologies, and that Hungarian startups can compete successfully in the international arena.

Sándor Balla, managing director of HEPA’s Canadian office, said that they are honored to co-organize a forum of such a large scale as Collision.

The Express Innovation Agency, the Embassy of Hungary in Ottawa, the Consulate General of Hungary in Toronto, the Hungarian Export Development Agency (HEPA) and the Canada Partner Office of HEPA jointly arranged for 10 Hungarian startups to participate in the Collision Conference, one of the world’s most important technology events in Toronto.
